How I Met Your Mother: Final Episode
After nine years on syndicated television, How I Met Your Mother experienced its largest ratings in its final episode. Nearly, 12.9 million fans tuned in Monday night to watch the show come full circle, explaining not only how the narrator Ted Mosby met his wife, but subsequently how their life played out all the way until her final moments.
Not only did the show experience its best rating in nine years but it was also met with the greatest criticism after it was revealed that Ted simply ends up with long-time show runner Robin Scherbatsky.
However, for fans of the show, the spinoff How I Met Your Dad is still a go. According to producers, HIMYD is suppose to be a more straightforward love story and is expected to star Greta Getwig as Sandy. Expect more disappointment from the new show in the upcoming year.
