Kanye West Sentenced to Anger Management and Two Years Probation
Kanye West is no stranger to controversy, being a target of the paparazzi in recent years. But the rapper has long since proven that he’s not afraid to retaliate, even if it means getting violent.
Recently, West was charged with misdemeanour counts of grand theft and battery after getting into a fight with a photographer at the Los Angeles International airport. Daniel Ramos, the paparazzo involved in the latest court case, claims that West punched him in an unprovoked attack before wrestling him to the ground to retrieve Ramos’ camera.
Although Ramos wanted to see Kanye thrown in jail for the attack, West pleaded no contest and was sentenced to two years probation and 24 anger management therapy sessions.
This isn’t Kanye’s first foray into court appearances due to altercations with photographers. West was also arrested in 2008 for getting into fights with the paparazzi at LAX and as recently as Jan. 13, he was involved in another altercation with a man that had thrown some racial slurs at his fiancée Kim Kardashian.
Chances are this won’t be the last court appearance for the angry rapper.
