Where once freelancers and entrepreneurs eschewed the office life, preferring instead to work at home or in coffee shops, many have begun to realize the benefits of working in a shared space. In the last decade, more than 95 coworking spaces have popped up in cities across Canada, providing respite for those who’ve chosen to move beyond the traditional workspace in favour of more collaborative work environments.
